Someone should point out to him that the figures on that poster are not gendered. So if he thinks it’s aimed specifically at heterosexual cis men… perhaps he should think about why he jumped to that conclusion.

I get the most personal fulfillment from writing about sexism as it relates to my own personal relationship experiences, so my stuff tends to skew towards a heteronormative relationship model. I don't EVER want to promote that as somehow the "norm" just because it happens to be my own lived experience. I welcome and encourage feedback from the LGBT community about sexism in romantic relationships, and from oppressed people of all types on how their oppression affects their personal relationships.
If I ever write something in non-inclusive language, I want to be called on it, so I can learn from it.
