I really enjoyed this piece, but I’m aware that Hugo Schwyzer is controversial. I’m not very familiar with his background, and I haven’t been able to find sources on some of the criticisms I’ve seen of him on tumblr, but I’d love to read them if anyone would like to message me links.
I think this particular piece is fantastic, and very, very relevant, so I hope you enjoy it- or at least are willing to send me the information I need to make a better judgment about the author :)

I get the most personal fulfillment from writing about sexism as it relates to my own personal relationship experiences, so my stuff tends to skew towards a heteronormative relationship model. I don't EVER want to promote that as somehow the "norm" just because it happens to be my own lived experience. I welcome and encourage feedback from the LGBT community about sexism in romantic relationships, and from oppressed people of all types on how their oppression affects their personal relationships.
If I ever write something in non-inclusive language, I want to be called on it, so I can learn from it.
