Hey original poster… have you been watching Switched at Birth this season? (And I apologize if that’s a stupid question, but I’d assume that show would be captioned. Shame on them if it’s not.) Anyway… this season, they’ve been examining a lot of privilege and showing the deaf characters dealing with hearing people that don’t really get why being deaf is integral to who they are and how they see the world, and it’s been really interesting and in my opinion, really well done.
I’d love to get your thoughts on the show and what they get right and what they don’t, if you get a chance to watch it.
